Amii

Director

Hello! I am Amii Marchant and I am the new director of PECC from January 2023.

I completed my Bachelor of Teaching/Bachelor of Early Childhood studies at Newcastle University in 2008. I have worked in both long day care settings and community preschools since completing my degree.

I believe as the director of the service it is my responsibility to uphold PECC’s philosophy and be the face of the centre. I am proud to be part of such an amazing service and work with educators who strive for the best for the beautiful children in our community.

Assistant Director

Hi, my name is Sue Tait, and I have been the Assistant Director at Parkes Early Childhood Centre since 2020 and began at PECC in 2006.

I completed my Bachelor of Teaching (0-5yrs) in 2013 and then went on to complete the Bachelor of Education (0-5yrs) in 2016.

My philosophy is that all children have the right to a quality early education.
I am proud to be involved in a learning community that values early childhood education, where all children are given the opportunity to feel safe, secure, and supported.

Educational Leader

I have been employed at Parkes Early Childhood Centre since October 2002. In 2006, I gained a Diploma in Children’s Services and, in 2013, graduated from Charles Sturt University after completing a Bachelor of Teaching (Birth to 5 years).

In July, 2021, I also accepted the role of Educational Leader. I believe that all children should experience early childhood education in a high quality service that is rich in experiences and opportunities and that they have the right to feel safe and nurtured both
inside, and outside, of their home environments.

I feel an immense pride in working at Parkes Early Childhood Centre, a place with a long history of generations of families, and, for families of the future.
